The NDA Research Database 1996 - 2012
The National Disability Authority hosts two searchable databases of Irish disability-related research, which are a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers and practitioners.
This database contains over 900 records covering research papers, reports, theses, Government publications and journal articles in the field of disability. Database searches will provide details of each publication and a source from which the research can be located.
The NDA wishes to add new records to the database covering research completed in the period from January 2006 to present. It is the intention that this database would then be updated on a quarterly basis.
If you or a member of your organisation has completed or published disability research during this timeframe that you believe should be included on the database, please submit details of the research using these guidelines.
We will be repeating this exercise on a periodical basis in the future so if you wish to be included on our mailing list please contact us.
The NDA Research in Progress Database
This database lists substantive research that is already in progress or firmly agreed. It will be useful for policymakers, practioners and other researchers to know where there is research already in train.
If you or a member of your organisation is conducting research that you believe should be included on the database, please submit details of the research. When the end date for your research is approaching, we will contact you re including the research in our completed Research Database.
If you have any queries re the Research in Progress Database please contact us.
Please be aware that entries submitted for the Research Database and the Research in Progress Database have to be approved before they will appear in the databases. The entries will be approved on a weekly basis. If your submission is not approved you will be notified by email.
