The National Disability Authority (NDA) 2026-2027 Public Sector Duty Action Plan is the third NDA Public Sector Duty Action Plan.
As a public body, the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Act 2014 requires us to conduct an assessment of the human rights and equality issues it believes to be relevant to the functions and purpose of the NDA; set out the policies, plans and actions in place or proposed to be put in place to address those issues and publish these in its strategic plan; and report on developments and achievements regarding the Public Sector Duty in its annual report.
The 2026-2027 Action Plan sets out 35 actions across five areas:
- Embedding the Duty
- Intersectionality
