In partnership with the Irish Computer Society (ICS), we continue our series of information and training events to promote accessibility practice among public bodies and digital agencies. The series provides practical guidance on achieving compliance with the EU Web Accessibility Directive as well as wider Universal Design considerations.
The Irish Sign Language Act was signed into law on 24th December 2017 and commenced on 23rd December 2020. The Act recognises the right of the Deaf community to access public services using ISL as their native language, including better access to public services through sign language.
In conjunction with the Irish Deaf Society, we now invite you to attend the following training Webinar.
