About the conference
The 2012 Annual Conference aimed to showcase national and international programmes and initiatives for promoting participation, independence and safety, for people with disabilities living in the community. The conference was of relevance to policy makers, practitioners, people with disabilities and other stakeholders.
Afternoon workshops focused on the following:

- Enabling environments
- Resource allocation and personalisation
- Changing attitudes.
