The NDA commissioned the Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability (TCAID) to carry out research to examine the care and service options for older adults with intellectual disabilities and complex age-related conditions across a number of service settings.
This research report explores these issues in more depth. Two academic papers have been published on this research, one in the British Journal of learning Disabilities and one in the Journal of policy and Practice in Intellectual Disabilities.
