Disability Equality Training

This introductory eLearning module on disability equality is designed for the public sector. It will help public bodies to understand disability equality and share models of good practice with them to support them in providing inclusive and accessible public services for disabled people.

NDA’s e-Learning module – Introduction to Disability Equality

This introductory eLearning module on disability equality consists of two parts

Part 1 of this module will help you understand disability equality, the law and the barriers people with disabilities face. Part 1 will take you 30 minutes to complete. After completing Part 1 of the module, you can move onto Part 2.

Part 2 will help you understand how to provide inclusive and accessible public services. Part 2 will take you 30 minutes to complete.

This module was developed with an advisory group, NDA employees, disabled organisations, and individuals with disabilities. The advisory group consists of representatives from Disabled Persons’ Organisations and public bodies.

Part 1 and Part 2 of the module have formative questions throughout to aid learning.

There are assessment questions at the end of each module. You must answer 4 out of these 5 questions correctly to pass each module.
