The first report, Literature Review on Health Experiences and Disparities of LGBTQIA+ Autistic People, examines the healthcare experiences of autistic people who identify as LGBTQIA+. It highlights barriers to accessing services, the health inequalities they experience, and supports and practices that could improve healthcare access and outcomes.
The second report, Literature Review on Autism, Ageing and Life Expectancy, reviews international evidence on autism, ageing and life expectancy. It examines mortality among autistic people, common health conditions affecting autistic adults, barriers to healthcare access, and factors influencing wellbeing in later life.
Together, the reports aim to improve understanding of health outcomes for autistic people and inform more inclusive healthcare policies and supports.
