Good Practice Guidance for Commissioners of Disability Training in the Public Sector

About this guidance

The aim of this updated guidance is to support commissioners of disability training across the public sector to procure appropriate training for their staff based on good practice. The training will support staff in their interactions with and understanding of disabled customers and in accepting and supporting disabled colleagues.

The NDA consulted with several organisations in the development of this guidance, including Disabled Persons’ Organisations and officials who procure training courses in government departments and public bodies.
