The National Disability Authority (NDA)’s introductory e-learning module on disability equality was launched by Mr Kevin McCarthy, Secretary General, Department of Children, Disability Equality on 13 March 2026 in the NDA buildings. The launch of the e-learning module was part of Accessibility in Action. Models of Good Practice a hybrid event that the NDA hosted in partnership with Accessible EU. The NDA also launched our Guidance to Support Non-Speaking and Minimally Speaking People to Access Public Services and our Guidance for Commissioning of Disability Training at this event. These resources will provide public bodies with the key steps to implement models of good practice on the provision of universally designed and accessible public services and to meet their commitments under the Autism Innovation Strategy and the National Human Rights Strategy for Disabled People 2025-2030.
